This was the only aircraft operating for Western Airlines out of Bellingham in these colours and was then reassigned to DirectAir after Western went bust without getting full Xtra Airways colours again. According to their website it's a flight to Myrtle Beach http://www.myrtlebeachdirectair.com/flights/our_aircraft/ A longshot, but would anyone be able to tie it up? It's tail was red/white/red vertical stripes, nothing like the airline's web pictures. I believe the fleet is N41XA, N42XA and N43XA. Only one pic on airliners.net matches the colours, N42XA, but that's hardly proof. thanks for any help Nige. http://www.aybm84.dsl.pipex.com/ Aircraft photos, links etc etc NBAA trip pics at http://s25.photobucket.com/albums/c88/NHowarth/NBAA%20Sept07/ _______________________________________________ To read on the web, go to http://mail.aviationlists.com/mailman/listinfo/cae_aviationlists.com To amend your options go to http://mail.aviationlists.com/mailman/options/cae_aviationlists.com To unsubscribe, click cae-unsubscribe at aviationlists.com To contact the list owners, send a mail to cae-owner at aviationlists.com The FAQs, can be found at http://www.aviationlists.com/FAQs.html Past messages can be read at http://www.aviationlists.com/archives.html The website is still under construction, but will be located, when complete, at www.aviationlists.com The infamous Vault remains located at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/civil-spotters/links (Yahoo ID required) To subscribe to our other list, send a blank mail to acars-subscribe at aviationlists.com and cae_acars-subscribe at googlegroups.com for ACARS reports and logs From flight707717 at yahoo.co.uk Mon Oct 1 04:22:55 2007 From: flight707717 at yahoo.co.uk (JAMES PAVELEY) Date: Mon, 1 Oct 2007 09:22:55 +0100 (BST) Subject: [CAE] REQ: Spotting at Brussels Message-ID: <374829.88500.qm@web25404.mail.ukl.yahoo.com> Hi all, Does anybody know if you can still spot from the cafe at Brussels? Very reasonable charges and they don't even ask for any money in advance. Hope this helps. Tony --------------------------------- Yahoo! Answers - Get better answers from someone who knows. Most of the 60 pieces sold on the auction's first day on Friday attracted around five times the asking price. The auction runs until today in the French aviation capital of Toulouse. Items being sold include a pair of toilet seats weighing 5.8 kilos and available for auction prices starting at EUR400 euros (USD$567) each. For the same asking price, collectors can bid for a Concorde pilot's headset. A laminated cockpit window panel went for EUR3,100, 10 times the asking price, at the start of the auction on Friday. If space is not a problem, the auction includes a couple of one-tonne Concorde landing gears on which the bidding starts at EUR2,000 - EUR3,000 -- wheels not supplied. Among the most symbolic items for the plane's many fans, however, will be a "Machmeter" weighing just over a kilo and offered at a suggested price of EUR1,500 - EUR2,000. The instrument's dial recorded Concorde's speed as it slipped through the sound barrier, known as Mach 1. "This sale has really got people carried away and we really welcome that because it is the last sale of Concorde accessories that will ever be organised," said auctioneer Marc Labarbe. The Anglo-French aircraft was withdrawn from service in 2003 after flying across the Atlantic for 27 years at speeds up to 2,625 kph. No virus found in this outgoing message. On 1st Oct 07 east-west, an AN12 approx 1730-1800 was seen flying over Larnaca. Anyone out in the med with SBS. Thanx. Everyone goes on about how good the Flamingo Hotel is. Only a 2 minute walk up the road and you come to a lovely family run hotel SEA AND LAKE VIEW APTS. Great for us spotters. Good views of the approach and landings. Theo and his family will charge between 25-30 pounds per night for a self catering apartment, there is a bar, swimming pool and every monday he does a free welcome bbq. He does a range of bar snacks and breakfast throughout the day. You can see more on www.seaandlakeview.com Have a look on line for yourself and I'm sure you will not be dissappointed. Thats definately all for now from Larnaca from me and oh yeah Her in Doors!!
